As summer begins, Downtown Houston is heating up with a whole host of summer activities on and around the Brookfield campuses.
Around Allen Center
Warm weather means patio season, and downtown Houston now has a new al fresco destination. Houstonians can take in the city's spring breeze at the idyllic, new Rosalie Italian Spritz Garden, every Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm through the end of June. Patrons can enjoy a rotating Spring drink menu featuring premium craft cocktails, take in live music from local talent, and enjoy lawn games, including giant Jenga and cornhole, on the newly renovated green space at Allen Center. Located at C. Baldwin hotel's outdoor terrace and surrounded by lush greenery and sweeping views of downtown, the Spritz Garden is the perfect spot to dine and sip in the heart of Houston!

Just a short walk from the Allen Center campus is Buffalo Bayou Park, which offers a number of events and classes all summer. Flow into the weekend with Sunrise Yoga on Buffalo Bayou on Friday mornings. In partnership with The Breathing Room, Buffalo Bayou Partnership is offering a series of 45-minute early morning yoga sessions that will take place at The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park. With a spectacular view of downtown, Houston’s most iconic green space is a unique and uplifting backdrop for yogis of all levels and ages. Bring your own mat. Reusable water bottles are encouraged. Relax into the weekend with Pilates in the Park at Discovery Green! Just a short walk away from the Houston Center campus, you can unwind after a long workday while taking in the evening breeze.
Enjoy the benefits of Pilates with these effective workouts from trainer Michelle Furcho. Increase strength while improving flexibility. All skill levels welcome.
