As you make your way through The Acre at Allen Center, you may have noticed a series of six new faces scattered across the one-acre greenspace. On July 23, Brookfield Properties unveiled PARK PEOPLE, a series of life-size Lego sculptures designed by award-winning artist, Nathan Sawaya.
The colorful, whimsical sculptures take the shape of monochromatic human form and can be found sitting on benches throughout The Acre. Made exclusively of Lego bricks, PARK PEOPLE are inspired by “the simple moments” and explore the artistic potential of the human form. The installation took Sawaya several months to piece together as he had to glue thousands of Lego bricks to construct each form.

To celebrate the opening of PARK PEOPLE, we welcomed our tenants for a morning reception with coffee and a trail mix bar and the opportunity to mix and mingle with these life-size sculptures.
