Brookfield Properties has a lot in store for the downtown Houston community, from Phase II of the Reimagining of Allen Center to the new evolutionary vision for Allen Center’s anchor hotel, C. Baldwin. We’re excited to share with you the new retail and restaurant concepts that will be opening in the coming months!
Coming to C. Baldwin:
Paloma (September 2019)
Paloma is Houston’s first non-toxic nail salon, whose concept was founded on the belief that beauty and wellness can coexist. In addition to manicures and pedicures, Paloma also offers an array of rejuvenating facials in an upscale, stylish environment. Paloma’s 1,300 sq. ft. space will mark the third location for luxury salon.
Sloan/Hall (September 2019)
Sloan/Hall is a multi-category lifestyle store with a tight curatorial item. Items include fine antiques, contemporary objects, jewelry, books, greeting cards, and more. Guests can find Sloan/Hall in the C. Baldwin’s lobby.
Coming to One Allen Center:
Guard and Grace (November 2019)
Last spring, famed Denver restaurateur Troy Guard announced that One Allen Center would be home to the second location of his award-winning modern steakhouse concept, Guard and Grace. A few signature dishes you can expect on the Houston menu include tuna sashimi from the raw bar, oak fired octopus starter, and of course, an extensive selection of premium steaks. The 13,000 square foot bi-level restaurant will be located in One Allen Center’s “glass box” and will feature indoor and outdoor terrace seating overlooking The Acre’s central lawn, as well as a full bar, and multiple private dining rooms.
Leaf & Grain (Fall 2019)
Also joining Guard and Grace at One Allen Center is Leaf & Grain, a fast-casual restaurant dedicated to serving fresh, tasty food that doesn’t compromise healthy eating. Leaf & Grain’s menu features a series of salads, grain bowls, and a seasonal menu that’s sure to be a welcome addition at One Allen Center. In addition, Leaf & Grain will also offer catering services.
We’re excited to welcome these new additions to C. Baldwin and One Allen Center! Stay tuned for more updates!
